The Studio

Shadowbox Studios Atlanta - Phase I (formerly Blackhall Studios) is an 850,000 square foot studio facility that has been home to such blockbuster features as ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’, ‘Jungle Cruise’ and ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’. The studio spans over 100 acres and features 9 soundstages totaling 200,000 square feet with 650,000 square feet of support space including warehouse, mill and office space.

The studio’s strategic location inside Atlanta’s I-285 perimeter places talent and crew only minutes away from Hartsfield Jackson International Airport and Atlanta’s city life centers with award-winning, celebrity chef-driven restaurants, high-end shopping and luxury accommodations such as the Ritz Carlton, St. Regis and Four Seasons. Large-scale productions require a studio with the soundstages, mill spaces and office real estate to accommodate full cast, crew and staff. Shadowbox has made these amenities front and center. Atlanta Phase I has nine soundstages ranging in size from 19,200 to 38,400 square feet with ceiling heights of 40 feet. Mill space, wardrobe, set decoration/props and storage space total over 165,000 square feet on the Main Campus and nearly 400,000 square feet on East Campus. Production teams can also access over 13,000 square feet of office space on the studio’s Main Campus plus nearly 30,000 square feet of production bungalows, as well as 40,000 square feet of additional office space on the East and Grove Campuses.
